WeCrashed
Via Apple TV
Next up in the emerging genre of ?prestige TV limited series based on corporate malfeasance,? we?ve got WeCrashed, a cleverly titled Apple TV production based on the exploits of Adam Neumann, the former CEO of WeWork, the shared workspace juggernaut. Neumann, you may recall, was embroiled in scandal when it became clear that he had hyped up the value of his own company well beyond its actual worth with some creative accounting. There were also allegations of sexual harassment and all kinds of other improprieties, and office drama to rival Shakespeare, so this is a hell of a story to tell. The series stars Jared Leto as Neumann, who will once again be speaking in an exaggerated accent that we can?t place, following his turn in House of Gucci. WeCrashed premieres in March.

If you somehow needed more reasons to get excited, there?s an old fashioned book trailer featuring the instantly recognizable ?God Moving Over the Face of the Water,? the Moby track that plays over the film?s final scene, which of course is set against a nighttime view of the Los Angeles skyline. There?s more information about plot specifics over at Deadline, including quotes from Mann that reveal just how multifaceted and well conceived these characters always were, which is the reason this story was so effective in the first place. Her entire journey took approximately 5 months in which she flew above 52 countries, covering over 32,000 miles of flight travel in a Shark UL ultralight aircraft. And, get this, she?s only 19 years old, making her the youngest female to ever complete a solo flight around the globe. She’s also the first Be...
